Our Staff:

I have been in the business of helping companies and organizations market their business for the past 33 years. To begin my industry experience, I was a secretary for a gentleman in Chicago and then decided to go into sales. In 1987 my husband Tom and I moved to Texas. At that time we decided to make the break and start our own business. We were doing well, but wanted to have the opportunity to offer our customers more than just promotional items. So in October 2000 we joined Proforma and changed our name to Proforma A-Z Specialties.

I married my best friend and partner Tom in 1976. We started working together in 1975 when I was his secretary in the medical manufacturing industry. In 1976 we took other positions and came back to working together again in 1986. We have one daughter who is a teacher, and a step-son and step-daughter along with 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy shopping and scrap booking.

Along with my wife Sherry we own and operate Proforma A-Z Specialties in Duncanville, Texas. I started working with Sherry in 1983 doing product research and order entry at night so she would have more time to sell. At that time I had a full time job working in the Pharmaceutical industry so what I did was just past time. In 1986 I quit my job in that industry and started helping Sherry full time not only doing the research but selling and marketing our company in the Chicago area.

Sherry and I decided we had had enough of the winters in Chicago and after visiting Dallas for the PPAI show in 1987 we decided to pack up and move to the Dallas area. We bought a home in Duncanville, a suburb of Dallas, and opened our business without a single customer. With lots of hard work and effort on both our parts we grew our business into a viable operation and in 2000 decided to buy a Proforma franchise to help us grow our business even further.

We have been with Proforma for 14 years and have grown our business each year. Our strong suits are customer service and follow up and we have many of the same customers we had when we first started. My main function is marketing our company to new businesses and organizations and by using many of the marketing tools from Proforma we have done that. I also sell and have many opportunities to get new business through networking activities that I participate in. We are members of several local Chambers and have used them to market our business and increase our customer base.

We are proud of our organizations and proud to be members of the Proforma Million Dollar Club. We have assembled a great team that can offer over 80 years of experience in the promotional and print marketing business.

I am the Sales Assistant to Sherry Kennedy. I became part of the Proforma team in January 2014 and it was one of the best decisions I have made. I was in the Banking industry for over 20 years and enjoyed the customer service aspect of my job. However, when my husband and I decided to start a family I made the decision to leave the banking world to become a stay at home mom and take care of our beautiful baby girl who is now 3 years old and I enjoyed every moment. In January of 2014 a great opportunity came upon me to join the dynamic team at Proforma A-Z Specialties. Tom and Sherry Kennedy have been an inspiration and a blessing to work for along with Sheri McBride our dedicated Office Manager and Clayton Chrietzberg our creative Graphic Designer. We truly believe in great customer service and taking care of your business needs for promotional marketing with a personal touch. I became a Proforma owner in 1999 and came across a sample magnet that still hangs in my office. “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” These words could not better express my passion and pleasure of being a member of the Proforma family. In 2004 I merged my Proforma with Proforma A-Z Specialties, Sherry and Tom Kennedy and we have all been able to follow our passions with the support of each other.

Our local team includes Judy Davila, Sherry’s Sales Assistant. Judy came in to assist while I was out on medical leave, January 2014, and her skills and passions match with our dreams, she has been a valuable asset and addition. Clayton Chrietzberg our graphic designer has taken his Graphics Degree and translated the classroom skills to our industries requirement and demands to provide our clients outstanding artwork. I strive to cover my clients and office management duties while assisting Tom with his responsibilities so he may have more time to enjoy his semi-retirement dreams. Our local team is but a small part of the services offered to our clients while supported by our Proforma Franchise Group; which is recognized nationally as one of the top ranking and most diverse franchise organization in the industries of Print, Promotional Products and E-Commerce.

I joined the Proforma A-Z Specialties team as their Graphic Designer in February of 2006. I have always had a passion for art and knew at a young age that I would pursue a career in Graphic Design. I earned my A.A.S. in Graphic Design from Westwood College of Dallas in 2005. I am always excited to accept new challenges to expand my creativity and knowledge in my field with each customer and help bring their ideas to life.
